Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 6 November 2026. These terms explain how Luna Maintenance Ltd quotes for and carries out work, how plant hire is arranged, and the terms on which you use this website. Luna Maintenance Ltd is a groundworks and plant hire contractor based in Hayle, Cornwall, registered in England and Wales under company number 14716856.

Free Site Visits and Written Quotes

Site visits and quotes are free. We visit the site, look at the ground, the access, the levels and the drainage, and then send you a written quote. Nothing on this website is a price or an offer of a price.

What Your Quote Sets Out

Your written quote sets out the work, the specification and the price before anything starts. Work begins only once you have accepted it. Where muck away is needed, we can arrange it as part of the job, and the quote will say so.

Laying Over Existing Surfaces

We lay a new surface over an existing one only where the existing surface is sound and suitable. We check this at the site visit, and the quote states whether the job is an overlay or a new base.

Planning and Consents

Some projects, including many farm buildings, ménages, silage clamps, slurry stores and driveways, need planning permission, prior approval or another consent. Check the position with Cornwall Council before work is booked. We are happy to talk it through at the site visit.

Plant Hire

Our plant is available operated, with one of our team at the controls, or on self-drive hire. You can collect a machine on a suitable trailer, or we can deliver it. The machine, the dates and the delivery or collection arrangement are agreed with you when you book. On self-drive hire, fuel and cleaning are charged on top of the hire.

Deposits

We take a deposit on every job and every hire.

Your Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are not affected by anything on this page.

Using This Website

This website gives general information about our groundworks, farm and equestrian work and plant hire across West Cornwall. You may use it for your own purposes. The text, design and images on this site belong to us or our suppliers and may not be copied or reused without permission. You must not misuse the site or try to interfere with how it works.
